These paintings were the first and were responsible for igniting my passion for painting. During the summer of '92, I would go to this cafe' in Santa Monica every day, get looped on cappuccino's and paint. I was living out the "starving but happy" artist fantasy. There was this sweet, hippy-musician cat that would come by and watch me. He would say things like, "Oh wow! Beautiful. Groovy. That's so cool!" With encouragement like that, how could one go wrong?

Many of the pieces were done in one day or less and are influenced by African, South American and Indian culture. All my pieces are inspired by LOVE!

These are only a few of my pieces. They have no set meaning and are completely open for interpretation. Whatever you feel from them is what you feel. I had a lot of fun and a wide range of emotions while producing these. It is my only wish that you experience some feelings while viewing them -- then I consider my attempts to be successful.
